The Novatik metallic roof tile is the first of its kind produced in Romania. The steel used for manufacturing the Novatik tiles is stable, strong and safe.

For the Novatik MATT tile production, Final Distribution uses steel covered with Colofer® - registered trademark of VoestAlpine - protected with ZnMg 120 g/sqm. The ZnMg alloy is very stable in salty fog conditions and ensures high protection against corrosion (both for the surface of the sheet as well as for cut edges or holes).

For the Novatik AVANGARDE tile production, we use 185 g/sqm AlZn protected steel. The aluminum, present on all surface, acts like a barrier, and the zinc ensures corrosion protection. The painting is done in electrostatic field, and the paint fulfills the international Qualicoat standards, class 2.

The Novatik metallic tile design was created in a way that ensures the aspect of a ceramic tile and still has an original shape. The size was especially chosen in order to create a series of advantages:

Easy to install system

The symmetrical design allows overlapping the tiles both ways (from left to right or otherwise), facilitating the fitting and reducing the installation time.

The small size modules require a simpler logistic of transportation and storage, an average size roof requiring a single pallet.

Horizontal nail fixing system

The Novatik roof tiles are installed with horizontally fixed nails or screws. The installation details are very safe and do not require a large number of accessories. The horizontal installation system and the perfect overlapping of the tiles make the Novatik roof one of the safest roofing systems on the market.
